Bering Watches
Bering watches are inspired by the 'artic beauty'. This is a combination of beautiful colors from the Northern Hemisphere, combined with a timeless Danish design that is named after the Danish navigator and explorer Viktor Jonassen Bering. He is the discoverer of Alaska. All watches are equipped with scratch-free sapphire glass and a three-year warranty.
Bering Watches history
Bering was created based on an idea by Micheal Witt Johansen from Denmark. He and his father traveled to Greenland and the Falkland Islands for 25 years. The trips to Greenland in particular gave great memories because of the spectacular nature, and this became an important part of his life.
When his good friend and co-founder Rene Kaerskov organized a parachute jump to the North Pole in 2008 to raise awareness for Earth Hour and was blown away by the icy beauty of the North Pole, he shared the photos with Micheal.
When this shared interest was found, the idea was born naturally; a watch brand inspired by 'artic beauty'. This is a combination of beautiful colors from the Northern Hemisphere, combined with a timeless Danish design that is

Inspired by the beauty of nature, an important part of Bering's business operations is giving something back to nature.
That is why Bering markets unique watch designs every year under the name Charity Collection. Of this amount, 15 dollars from each watch sold goes to the Polar Bears International organization, which is committed to the protection of polar bears in the North Pole.

If you have purchased a Bering watch from our store or webshop and the battery runs out within a year, we will replace it free of charge.
