During busy periods, the processing and delivery of your package to the delivery service may take longer than you are used to from us. We would like to emphasize that we do our utmost to process and ship your order as quickly as possible. However, during these periods we are dependent on the delivery service and the current circumstances. Please note that there may be a delay of 1 to 2 days. When you place an order with a value under €50, we charge €6.95 in shipping costs. However, if your order has a value of €50 or more, we will cover the shipping costs!

The delivery time is two to four days, including Saturday. We process our webshop orders daily and often ship them the next day. If you have an urgent order, please contact our customer service and we will ship the package the same day, so you can receive it the next day.

Also make sure to check on the website whether the product is in stock with our supplier! If this is not the case, delivery time may be longer. We will keep you informed of this by email. However, most products are in stock and can be shipped immediately.

You will receive a confirmation of the shipment by e-mail. This email contains the Track & Trace code. This is a link from PostNL that allows you to track the shipment.

We work with PostNL, which gives you the option to choose between home delivery or collection at a PostNL collection point.

Track & Trace

You will receive the Track & Trace code as soon as your package has been processed. If you order before 10:00 PM on a working day within the Netherlands, you will receive an email with your track & trace code before 11:00 PM. If you place an order from Belgium before 10:00 PM on a working day, you will receive your track & trace code before 11:00 PM.

It is good to know that when your Track & Trace has been generated, your package is not yet in the hands of PostNL. Therefore, the exact delivery time is not immediately known. It is best to check your status again the next morning. If the status has not been updated, it means that your package has not yet been assigned to a ride. It is advisable to wait a while. If it takes longer than 2 days, please feel free to contact us so we can sort this out for you.

This means that your package is currently between our logistics center and the PostNL depot. The first scan is given in the depot. You can wait for this, because a delivery time is usually known on the next delivery day.

This means that the package has arrived at the PostNL sorting center. PostNL then carries out another scan so that you receive a delivery time on the Track & Trace link.

Your package

First of all, we are sorry that you have not received the package. PostNL may have delivered your package to your neighbors without leaving a note. We recommend that you first ask your neighbors whether they have the package. If this is not the case, please contact us immediately. We will then contact PostNL to obtain more information about the relevant delivery.

If your package is delivered damaged, we recommend that you refuse this package during postal delivery. Then contact our customer service directly. Accepting a damaged package is at your own risk.

At Van der Kooij, standard shipping is free for orders over 50 euros with a delivery address in both the Netherlands and Belgium. You have the option to have your package delivered to your home or pick it up at a PostNL point. If the product is in stock, your order will usually be shipped the next day.
