The Seiko Presage collection is a well-known Seiko collection with the Cocktail series as a classic highlight. This has recently been supplemented with the 1960s line. Bold colors and compact watch cases are characteristic of this series. Seiko has stood for craftsmanship for two hundred years and the Presage watches are certainly no exception.

Seiko Presage Cocktail Time

The entry-level series of the Presage line is the Presage Cocktail Time series. Seiko calls this the basic line, but as far as we are concerned, Seiko is doing itself a disservice. For the entry-level model, the watches have a high-quality finish. The readability and design are perfectly balanced in the Presage Cocktail models. In addition, it is clearly visible that Seiko does not want to make any concessions in terms of finish. The indexes and hands are designed in such a way that they always reflect the light correctly. In addition, the date wheel has the same color as the dial. Something that is normally only done with watches in the highest segment.

The Cocktail collection has small references to your favorite cocktail, the indexes are so shiny and narrow that they evoke the association with a narrow cocktail glass.

Seiko Presage 60's

The expansion of the popular Cocktail Time collection came last summer in the form of the sixties collection. Inspired by the first Seiko chronograph launched in 1964 during the Tokyo Olympic Games. This series has the looks of a retro vintage watch, but the interior of a modern automatic watch.

Unique to the 60's Presage collection is that the cabinets are smaller than what is usual today. With a diameter of 40.80 millimeters, it is a fairly compact timepiece compared to the increasingly larger watch cases of the moment. Such dimensions were much more common in the 1960s.

The dial, like the case, has a beautiful vintage look. All 60's models have sharp lume filled hands in a classic sword style that seem to have been rolled straight from the 60's model.

The in-house produced 4R35 automatic movement installed in four of the six models is known for its durability and the 41-hour power reserve is more than sufficient for the daily use of the Seiko Presage 60's models.
